NEWS FROM NOVEMBER:
I write to you in the hopes that this letter finds you in good spirits and even better situations. It has been a while since we have had an update or a community meeting so before our end of year meeting (Time TBA) I wanted to give a brief update on the status of the Coalition. Aside from that, I would also like to talk a bit about this community.
As you all know, I've been a bit busy and out of games the past few months. Starting today, that changes. My apologies to anyone who feared that this community had been forgotten or that things were left untended to. Everything is now in order and I am back. I would like to say something to anyone who did doubt the direction this community is going or the strength of the factions within it: This community will never go anywhere. No matter how busy we are, no matter how our lives change... this community is constant. Many of us have grown up with this community and through it have made some really solid friends. We have audacious goals for gaming dominance and they will be achieved. Patience and persistence. Fun above everything. Community.
Every faction is fairly active in the games they are playing. A few people tried some new games, but nothing has really stuck yet with the community. As such, there hasn't been a "big game" that we've all had a chance to play together, but thats not an issue. That wont change a thing. The Coalition is designed to thrive in any gaming environment, but it can only thrive if our members are open, friendly and informed. I want to keep you better informed than you have been. Below you can find a small summary of what each Faction is doing:
AGN:
-Playing just a small bit of Planetside. Intending to increase activity in Planetside again. Still playing World of Warcraft. Recently merged guilds with Insomnia. Welcome! Raiding top level 25 mans. Looking forward to Black Prophecy, PS2, Huxley (maybe), L4D2 and JGE.
C:
-Playing League of Legends (thinking about putting up a proteam), Borderlands, still playing a bit of Aion with DARK/AGN. Looking forward to L4D2. Intending to stay solid in Aion.
DARK:
-Still playing Planetside!
DT:
-Recently had their AGM (Annual General Meeting) - Discussed upcoming meet ups, website and forum overhaul, and ventrilo. Everyone is looking forward to SWTOR in DT. Currently playing Planetside and World of Warcraft.
NCSF:
-A couple people are playing Planetside. A couple are playing Steam games: TF2 and L4D. Many members are out on tour with the US Military. Our thoughts are with them. Looking forward to L4D2. Try the L4D2 demo!
Upcoming Events:
-PAX East - March 26th - 28th. Boston. Thread to be made in the Members forum soon. Attend. Free Coalition Shirts.
-Christmas/Winter Planetside Event (Stay tuned!)
-DTs 5th Year Anniversary in January
-AGNs 6th Year Anniversary in January
-Coalition 1st Annual Meetup in VEGAS! Keep an eye out for more information soon! Likely in August 2010!
Miscellaneous:
-Server Admin will now be only given to Faction Leaders and Branch Leaders. Others will be given channel admin over their respective channels for their branch. This is to combat administrative abuse and clean up the clutter of admin. This was a unanimous decision by all Faction Leaders.
-Members joining the AGN WoW branch will be given General Member status with the Coalition. If they wish to join AGN, that can be arranged with AGN officers. All officers in AGN branches must be AGN members.
Anyway, we, the Faction Leaders, wanted to give an update on things and generate some buzz before the big meetings/big events in December and early next year.

This community is what you make of it. We as faction leaders are here to facilitate a good time and good organization, but each of us only succeeds with your interest and activity. Suggest things. Make any grievances you have clear. Spread the word about the Coalition. Start a branch in your faction. Tell us what you want this community to be. Tell us what it shouldnt be. Get involved.
